About me
My name is Piotr Pluta. I am programmer and web developer from Poland. I started working in web development three years ago, helping my friend create XHTML/CSS templates for web pages he worked on in his job. Then I learned some object oriented PHP and used it to make websites for people and companies.
My video gaming hobby induced me to learn about game development and game programming. One of the first games I created was simple 2D space shooter, written in Python. The game had scoreboard stored on server, which allowed score comparison between players. Although I’m now using C++, C# or Java to work on my projects, I still love Python – high readability and syntax similar to natural language make development as simple as it could be. The number of available libraries is also impressive.
Currently I’m working as a full time iPhone/iPad/Adnroid game developer in Wrocław, Poland.
Apart from programming, I play electric guitar, attend to rock concerts, read books and play video games on various gaming systems.
